A happy environment is what we need

          Happy School Movement or HSM in short, was launched by the Department of Education -Region 1 to boost the efficient implementation of K to 12 basic education curriculum in the Ilocos provinces. It was anchored on the theme: "Paaralang Masayang Maglingkod, Tagumpay ng Bata'y Itaguyod. The DepEd Region 1 director said that the launching of the HSM platform is very timely as the opening of classes for school year 2019-2020 is set on June 3.

          Happy School Movement aims to create an environment where students can freely express themselves and promote learning in an easy yet effective way or learning. Also, a happy school is composed of happy teachers build in a happy environment and form happy students. Through this program of DepEd, the learners’ full potential is given the greatest attention by creating a happier and more positive school culture. The movement aims to inculcate in the minds of pupils that school is not just a place for learning but also a place for fun and enjoyment as they enjoy what they are doing. It is important that they love what they doing because if they have no interest with it, they will not reach their certain goal and it will also affect their learning. It may also give them stress which is it must not. That is why the Happy School Movement is very important because it will help a lot to both students and teachers. 
  
          Creating a healthy and happy environment will always affect what we do in our life. This program helps the students and also teachers to teach them love what they are learning and doing so that this will result to an effective learning.

I DID!

        Everything lasts. But there is a beauty in every ending. You can gain, you can learn. Lessons you learned are ready to be practiced. Another journey has ended and it's the start of a new journey with harder and tougher challenges. We just got into our destination. Grade 10, it was a nice ride.       I am so grateful to learn new things about Photoshop. In our section, we are truly enjoying, we are having fun gaining new knowledge in our subject ICT 10. But, we can't deny the fact that we are struggling sometimes in editing pictures. Challenges goes harder and harder when you go farther. During fourth grading period, I got some challenges. First is self-doubt and how can I managed it. So, to lighten my mind and soul, I motivated myself by the saying "If others can, I can do it also". I made it! Vigan City Fiesta Celebration

          The Vigan City Fiesta is held in honor of St. Paul the Apostle, the city’s patron saint, on 25 January each year. Locals and tourists gather to experience and see the street dancing, carnivals, food fairs, and arts and crafts, adding to the attraction of this UNESCO World Heritage City.           Participants from the different neighboring provinces in the northern region are also sent to compete in the various games and activities, particularly the street dancing competition. Within the Vigan City Fiesta days, the Longganisa Festival is also celebrated. The city has a longganisa-themed parade and at one time attempted to set a record for having the longest longganisa ever made.
