Resiliency to Disasters
Resilience is being able to resist, take and recover from
the effects of a hazard in effective way. It is the ability to become strong or
successful again after something bad happens. Some disasters or calamities that
we are experiencing are floods, earthquakes, typhoons, and many more. These
disasters that happens suddenly and causes much suffering to many people, and
it is something that has a very bad effect or result to us.
Even though
sometimes, we are experiencing these strong calamities, we must stay strong
always. Being prepared is never wrong. In fact, this will help you to lessen
the possible damages created by the disaster once it approach. Through
combining sustainable development, disaster risk reduction, and ecosystem
management, we will create a resilience future. Let us empower each and every
