Nutrition Month: “Kumain nang Wasto, Maging aktibo, Push natin ‘to!”


Every year on the month of July, we celebrate the National Nutrition Month. “Kumain nang Wasto, Maging aktibo, Push natin ‘to!”, is the theme of this year’s Nutrition Month Celebration. The purpose of this celebration is to encourage every one of us to be healthy and have a healthy lifestyle.

The theme means that we should be aware of what we are eating, if it is good to our body or not. Our health is our wealth. The nutrition is very important for us to stay healthy and fit. Eating is a necessity but we must eat intelligently. We should eat healthy foods like vegetables and fruits and do not eat more on foods that can affect your body like a lot of junk foods, soft drinks, sweets, and many more. Eating the wrong foods can put you close to diseases. Eating the right choice of food will give us the nutrients that we need to have on our daily lives.

It is not only eating something healthy that can be good to our body, but we also need to be active in some activities. Being involved in activities such as playing your favorite sports and performing different physical activities will be a big help for you to stay fit and healthy.  Practice healthy lifestyle now so you would not regret later.
